I'm not going to post this on socials as I'm done arguing with plebs who can't verify and read the code for themself, but FYI, I just read through the BIP110 activation client code and:
Contrary to the activation parameters as written in the BIP (BIP9 style activation, miner activated), the actual activation client has an additional BIP148 style enforcement starting around August 1st. When the threshold of 55% blocks signaling for bip110 in a single window (2016 blocks) has not been reached, any block that is not signaling for BIP110 after August 1st will be rejected by the activation client, basically splitting themself of, or even coming to a complete halt if there's no hashpower. Looking at the node counts and virtue signaling on X, this is going to be interesting to watch.

Bitcoin is close to becoming worthless.
Now what's the Bitcoin? Bitcoin's like rat poison. Yeah. Oh. The greatest scam in history. Let's get it. Bitcoin will go to fucking zero.

Enjoy the show. Morning, mate. Good morning. How you doing, mate? Not as busy as you. Yeah. It's it's been a week. Surviving is probably the best way to to describe it. It's just very, very busy, very busy. We're we're feels like crunch time for prime now. I'm I'm I'm very
conscious of the fact that we we feel like we've been this close for quite some time. So it's we're we're at the gritty end and and everybody's running around like headless chickens to try and meet deadlines and stuff. So we're getting there. It's just lots of roadblocks and hurdles that we need to get over and around and
to make the thing happen in a way that doesn't turn out to be a disaster. So we're we're getting there. We're getting there, and it's just taking a lot of a lot of hours and a lot of effort, and the team are really grinding. So I
I know I sound like a whiny little bitch, but we're all in the same boat, but foundation Listen, mate. We're all we are cranking. You always sound like a whiny little bitch, so don't worry about it, bitch, mate.
No. You don't. You don't. I can tell when you're stressed. Seth's always stressed and tired. It's just like standard Seth mode. You're normally slightly less stressed, bit calmer, bit slower.
And then this last week not this week. How's how's the coffee intake? Has it gone through the roof, or are you leaning on sort of speed and Adderall, or how are you getting through it? It hasn't changed Oh. Thankfully.
Okay. I've just yeah. No. No. Coffee intake has not changed. I actually opened a bag that I got delivered yesterday, and it's always a bit of a commitment when you buy coffee beans, especially when you buy it by the kilogram because it's like Mhmm. That's like a month's worth of coffee. And if it turns out to be shit, you're like, ugh.
But open a fresh bag, and it's absolutely delightful. So it's probably been the highlight of my week, and it just says a lot about my week, really.
Do you know what? Mine's not been too dissimilar. I've also bought a new coffee bean. Very happy with it. And then, like, I'm happy because 10% goes to all the homeless dogs around where we are, and I'm like, that's actually very nice.
Every time, yeah, every time that I drink it, I'm like, the little dogs, they get some get some food and deworming tabs and all that kind of stuff. So I sort of feel quite good while having my coffee. There you go. You're doing some good in the world. Yeah.
But, yeah, due to the fact of, obviously, it's normally me that preps for the show and my my back is firmly pressed against the wall,
our Canadian overlord has stepped in and done the show notes for us. So I'm gonna openly hold my hand up here, mate, and say that I'm going into this blind. I opened the the show notes about five minutes ago. Okay.
So thank you, Sean, for for the assistance. Thank you. And if I start rambling over some of the topics, it's because I have done zero prep. So bear with us, listeners. Welcome to my world, mate. What's any other business in in your world, mate? What's what's going on? Any any disasters? Any successes?
Yeah. Not really. Not really, mate. I'm I'm working on a few things in the background that I can't yet talk about, but should be quite cool and hopefully be released quite soon. Outside of that, I've got back in the gym.
Been working actually really hard in the gym for the last sort of week, which has been actually really nice, like, just getting in there for an hour and just absolutely going hell for leather, which is it clears the mind a little bit. So, hopefully, that continues.
Still on the the lower coffee intake, but I have to admit, it's more like a two. I've did three
one day, but that was a that I'll just tell you that was a day. Where's my I told you so T shirt? No. Know. I know. Listen, mate. I'm I'm feeding dogs when I'm doing it, and that's really why why I do this. Just know that. Look. It could be worse, mate. You could be doing smack or I could be. Something much much worse.
Like, having having coffee as your vice is is is fine in my books. Like It's not that bad, is it? There's no You can have alcohol somewhere. Yeah. You don't smoke. No cigarettes. No weed anymore.
No hard drugs. Just very little sleep. And so that is the vice. Yeah. Like I said, it could be worse. Could be worse. Indeed. Indeed. For me, just quick update on on Samurai stuff. A quick reminder, billingqanda.org.
Please go and sign the petition if you haven't done so already. Progress is unfortunately slowed. We're at 14,870 signatures as of the time of recording. Bitcoin and crypto donations are now available, obviously, because both guys are unfortunately incarcerated now. Bill went in at the start of the month, but that did unlock
the fact that their families are now able to to receive Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. So if you head to the the link which will be in the show notes, then you can find all of the different methods in which you can do that to show you support for Right. For the families because obviously they are severely financially kneecapped
both from lack of income and from ridiculous penalties as well. So any support would be welcomed by the families, I'm sure. Yeah. Definitely. Finally, the third installment of the letters from Keone that are being published by The Rage. The third installment is now out. I have not read it, so I can't really give a summary. But the title
and subheading is basically letter three, notes from the inside. And the quote is from sour milk to moldy burger buns. Samurai Wallet developer, Keone Rodriguez, describes the realities of federal incarceration.
So it's on excuse me. It's on my my my list of articles to to catch up with. But, again, that will be linked into the show notes. They are, a very interesting read. I'll say that. Yeah. It's, it's the first art I've read the first article, and it's the first article I've read in months. As you know, I I struggle to read because
I can't read too good, but it was a really
it was it was hard to read, but it was also quite nice to hear that it's from the sounds of it, at least from the first letter that the inmates that he was surrounded by were actually very kind so far and that
the environment wasn't as bad as maybe he expected it to be. Obviously, it's the last place you wanna be, but it was quite nice to hear that. It's like,
you know, doctors and people that he could chat to and scientists and people who were, like, offering him clothes and food and stuff, which I don't know. I I wouldn't have expected that. Yeah. I've spoken to a couple of people who who are are closer to him and his family, and it it it they do seem to echo that that this is,
as prison goes, one of the better ones, particularly in America. So seems as though if you can't take any positive from the situation that, you know, he he he could have been much worse in in terms of like where he was he was incarcerated. I believe he's not too far from his family where he is as well, which obviously
reduces the the kind of mental burden on them as well to go and see him whenever they're allowed visitations. Yeah. Yeah. Alright. Let's hit the news. Once again, quick reminder, I'm going in blind here. Thank you to Jordan. But first on the list, a daily mail link. Oh, I'm not sure how I feel about that one. Yeah.
That's not what we can forgive him because he he's not British, so he wouldn't understand the He wouldn't. The the link, would he? But Oh, a beer already, is it? Wow. I wish. Yeah. It was it's a kind of a
it's a kind of Coke. Although I've just realized that that's a terrible thing to drink when I'm recording a podcast because it's very gassy and I'm gonna end up burping all the time. Apologies ahead of in advance, Karim.
Labor's banter ban could cost firms at least 60,000,000 to enforce. I love this. Banta ban. Proposed banter ban could cost businesses more than 60,000,000 to enforce, the government has admitted.
What is this banter ban? I haven't actually heard about this. I hope that they actually called it the banter ban. That's amazing if they did.
Do Americans know what banter is? I don't feel it's something they would really say. While I scan the article, maybe you can give them the TLDR. Banter, just like British banter, jokey,
normally like a bit of a dig, isn't it? It's normally like taking the piss out of each other a little bit, a little bit of back and forth, nothing too harmful banter. Yeah. So under the new system, businesses will be made liable for, quote, harassment of their staff by third parties such as customers.
Will be able to take their staff will be able to take their boss to an employment tribunal if they feel they have been harassed due to so called protected characteristic such as race, sexuality, or disability.
Employers are already expected to deal with sexual harassment by customers. I mean, the underlying why makes sense. Like if you're working in a pub and you have a disability, it's not right for somebody to come in and make you, you know,
feel inferior because of that disability. Like, everyone can agree that that's not a likeable you'd be a cunt. You'd be a cunt. Yeah, exactly. But you can't But the ability for that person to then sue their boss because Fred round the corner, the local piss head is taking the piss out of him because he's in a wheelchair. It's just
beyond crazy. I mean, I I wish I was more surprised by this, but, like, yeah, I'm just Especially if you're working in a pub, you have to expect that someone's opened a bag and a pint, and they're just gonna be an absolute come. They've just come back from the bathroom, got a few of their stupid mates,
and they are gonna take the piss, and they are gonna be cunts. And that is just what is gonna happen because you're in The UK, I'm afraid. Yes. Lovely. Another, another nail in the coffin for broken Britain.
Alright. Next on the list is in French. He's trying to trip me up. I can translate Thanks, Jordan. Cryptocurrencies, though some of these translations are a bit questionable. The wall Okay. The WALTIO platform, victim of extortion attempts by the mysterious shiny hunters.
Oh. The French company has announced that it's filed a complaint for attempted extortion and breach of an automated data processing serve system. Nearly 50,000 users could be affected.
The shiny hunters who I've never heard of are on the attack again. They're infamous. During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, great translation, I love that. This unofficial group of hackers sent, according to our information, a ransom demand to the Wallet Walletio company.
The signatories of this email claims to have taken over the personal data of around 50,000 customers. What are ah, okay. So this is thank you for the the notes here, Jordan. It's a French company that helps calculate taxes on crypto. So basically, the Walletio company
have had their the data of their customers who are are because of the nature of what they do as a business, are cryptocurrency holders. They've had their data leaked. Great. It always seems to happen in France this as well. Have you noticed that? Sloppy.
More often than not, should I say. Yeah. Sloppy the French, aren't they? Yeah. Do you make good food though and wine, and they have got sexy accents, so
I'll give them that. I'll give you one out of the three. Which one are you giving? The last one. The sexy accent. I actually prefer a Spanish, to be honest, or, like Oh, yeah. Spanish is cheaper. Crop. It's it doesn't get better. People always say, like, French or Italian, and I'm like, no. No. No. No. It's Spanish. That's the one.
Yeah. You get a Spanish sineurita whispering in your ear and it's fucking gonna melt. Oh my god. I've never experienced it, obviously. But yeah, I can imagine that that would be nice. Colombia, we don't say daddy.
In Colombia, we say papazito. It's alright. You'll be able to get Gemini to do whispering your aids in a Spanish accent before long. Yeah. That'd be nice. You can you can have a little AI Spanish senorita girlfriend that your wife doesn't know about.
Yeah. I'd never do that. But the next on the of Back on target. Yeah. Yes. What? Go on. You go. I was gonna say the next on the list is the only thing that I did read, and it's just amazingly retarded and funny.
Zach XBT is a hero, the stuff that he digs up and goes through and finds out. And you were just about to read this, but let me just tell you. Amazing. The the pictures of the people in this article are exactly how you would expect them to be.
So if you've read this, I'm gonna let you lead on this one because I haven't. Oh, I've just scanned down to see the photos now. Exactly what you expect. Yeah. Do you do you wanna give the what what's going on here? Give some context. Yeah. So two thieves, basically, like crypto bro thieves
who stole a lot. Like, I I think they've traced back I think he said 25,000,000 in one Ethereum account and another rate in another. And, like, we're talking, like, tens of millions. I'm not sure of the exact amounts.
And two of these hackers, extortionists, whatever they are, were arguing with each other about who is richer, like, on some telegram room. And then one was baiting the other, like, oh, yeah. You fucking don't have enough. Like, you you actually poor. And then the other one's doing screenshots to show how much money they've stolen.
And somehow those screenshots got out because it was in Telegram room, obviously. And Zach XBT has chased a lot of it back, and I don't really understand. It says, like, some has been stolen from the US government, and then other bits have been stolen from elsewhere from other hacks and things.
But he he thinks he's traced it back to the two people in question. I think one's already been arrested before, and they are just like if you imagine, like, crypto bro hacker that would be flexing on each other about who's richer in a telegram room out in the open.
Just picture that in your head, and it is exactly what you expect. It is skinny, fat, like, little retard monks who have got, like, million dollar watches that are so you know, those disgusting, like, colorful they look like you'd win them in one of those grabber things in a,
like, arcade game or whatever, but some twat has paid, like, a million dollars for it, and they think that it looks sick. They wear those sort of things, and they'd like sending videos to each other, like, flexing on each other with, like, stacks of cash and just, like, just the absolute
worst of the worst. The kid that you should bully at school. The kid that and my kids are a bit older. I'm like, you probably should fucking punch that kind of the face. That's that's what they are. It's hilarious.
Yeah. The the only piece of common sense I can see here scanning through is that at least they they were protecting their ill gotten gains with the hardware wallet. I can see that they're when they're doing the flex on video and they're sending funds around there, they can see it's using some
I think it looks like a Coinbase extension, and then it asked to to verify with a ledger, obviously, because it's Yeah. But, yeah, funny story. So so they've been caught, are they? Well, I don't know. I I think that he's sort of traced them back. He knows where the funds came from, and he thinks he's uncovered who it is.
And then they quickly changed their Telegram picture and username, which is noted. So I think they sort of know that maybe the game is up. But What place you have games. Think well, I suppose I know the answer to this, but, like, it's quite common in in The UK, particularly on, like, the the the second
rate social media thing like Snapchat stuff for criminals and and people from certain areas of the country to be, like, flexing with, like, what's the cash and stuff like that. And and that they've
seen a couple of videos of, like, people flexing that, oh, yeah. Look. We've we've just stolen this, you know, BMW m three or something like that. Yeah. It's like, the the no good can come of that from from from the thief's perspective.
Well, from You're just you're just inviting the police to you know, you're giving them a thread to pull on. It's like, how retarded do you have to be? Well, very retarded. You know, some criminals are really smart, and some criminals are really not.
And, unfortunately, those ones think it's a good idea to show what you're doing. I think probably because they think it like, oh, yeah. It makes me look hard and cool and get some street cred and, like, maybe they think that women will think that that's, like, cool and a turn on, which they definitely won't.
And then they post it, and then they get caught. It's fucking retarded. But there we are. It's good. At least they're sort of like, they're cleaning themselves up.
Retard's gonna retard, Yeah. You did miss something on the list, actually. So I'll go back to the previous the previous article. Okay. Bitcoin hash rate has dropped 8% as US miners curtailed during winter storm Fern.
I actually knew that was gonna happen before it happened. The storm? Well, I knew that there was gonna be an 8% drop because John was going offline. He's had to power down his mine. So it's in.
Yeah. That makes sense. It's extremely cold where he is. Too run too cold to run the generators and everything that he needs to run for the coal bed methane stuff. So he's actually just had to completely power down, and so I was like, okay. It's gonna be, like, between 812% drop, and there we are.
Wow. Yeah. We we've got a thread on our internal chat foundation that's literally called US snowpocalypse. All of the
of The US team members are all comparing who's got the the most amount of snow piled up at their door. Some of it's pretty gnarly compared to, like, what we we get in The UK, you know, a bit of slush in there, and all the schools close.
Yeah. All the schools close, and then, like, trying to do a bit of sledding on a on, like, a hill, which is half covered in snow and the rest is melted. Whereas I'm getting messages
from John, like, oh, yeah. All the kids are out on quad bikes and side by sides and just tearing up the streets and just, like, having fun. And I was like, yeah. That's so much cooler than what we achieve.
Love to see it. Yeah. Yeah. On that note with the mining, I'm just looking at the mental space mining dashboard. And the estimate for the next difficulty adjustment is minus 16.47%. Oh.
And that's in that's in ten days. So we've got we're like halfway through the epoch. So that's a good amount of data. You know, it's not like we we we just had a a difficult adjustment and the numbers are all over the place.
That's wow. Looks like a sizable drop. What was the I mean, you you you're the the mining expert out of the tables here because of the show with John. What what what did it peak at hash rate?
Do you know what? I couldn't tell you. Did it get up to It went to a Zeta it did go to a Zeta hash cause we were we were waiting for that for a long time, and and then we did hit it. But I don't know I honestly couldn't tell you where it went. We haven't really been Oh, here we go. Doing that many more. Tells me. Actually, no.
It's one the highest number I can see is 1.31 zeta hash. 1.31. Yeah. Wow. And the current is estimated at 887. So it's it's a pretty big drop, and that's and we've got an even bigger drop to come. Interesting.
Good news, I guess, if you're if you're a bit axe, your chances have just increased significantly. That is true. It's a bit scary though if, like, you know, this is a storm in The US and everyone's dropping offline.
Like, how much power is not just in The US. I think the storm is only half of the the story, personally. It's like, you know, you look around on on Bitcoin, Twitter, and everybody's heads up their asses. The sentiment is like peak bear market, if you ask me. Like, nobody's pos seems positive.
So it's probably, you know, a lot of miners might be hurting because the price isn't where they expected it to be. They've got all the outlays. Maybe some are turning off. Like, you know, it seems as though the the the the
economic environment would would feed into people or miners having to turn off if you're you know, don't have super cheap electricity prices. But, again, I don't wanna sound like a
Peak bear market, I think, is a big shout. I I don't think that there Gee. Yeah. Like, I'm gonna I'm gonna walk that back. Yeah. That was a stupid comment, but it's it's like you know what I mean? Sentiment is is complete stock shit at the moment. Sentiment is low, but I think we're a long way off. Like,
peak bear market to me, like, where's the worst bear market? 2020 March 2020. 2020. Yeah. Yeah. That was, like, for me, I was, like, all in. But you know what? No more money. And and then any money that I did have was in that. And I was like,
literally, like, I I don't know how to pay my heating bill, like, selling shit in the house, like, which I'd already sold most of it. Like, literally, I was like, fuck. What can we sell? Like like, just what the fuck am I gonna do now?
And that's where mean. Yeah. And and that was that was that was the common viewpoint from everybody on Twitter back then. It wasn't,
oh my god, Bitcoin is dying. It was fuck, what can I do to buy some more? Whereas now, I'd say sentiments worse now than it was on that, you know, I think they called it Black Friday or whatever day it was. Yeah. Yeah. Where it dropped, like, fucking 40% or whatever. I think sentiment's worse now than it was on that day. Do you?
Do you think that's it? Do you think it's sentiment around Bitcoin as a tool and an idea rather than the actual financial side because most people have been around for a little bit of time. Okay. We're at, what, over $88,000
now. It's like, oh, well, we were over a 100. It's like, yeah. But you were three not that long ago as well, so don't, like, don't fucking cry me a river, mate. I, like, I don't I don't think it's just financial stuff. I think it's obviously, mining mining is brutal.
But I think some of it's like sentiment around or at least for me or, like, anyone I speak to who's in our groups, the sentiment has dropped and the amount of interest has dropped hard since all the samurai stuff started.
Like Oh, yeah. Since that started and then watching how the industry reacted, how the sort of inevitable legal fucking story would go, that was the one, I think, actually, people maybe discount how much of an impact that has had across the whole industry because that cypherpunk,
we're gonna take on the fucking world. We're not selling. We're holding. You know, all the all the stuff that people used to say, like, this is a counterculture where we're breaking away from this cunty shitty, fucked up legal system and money, I think for a lot of us for me, definitely, that dream is a lot less of a reality knowing that
those two gentlemen are are in prison and things went the way they have gone because it's a a very, very stark reminder of, like, stroke of a pen. You can think you're as hard as you want. You can clever shitposting Twitter guy, but, actually,
they can put you in a box. And I I I think that well, maybe it's just in my bubble, but I think that's had way more of an impact than any price or hash rate or storm or any of that. Yeah. Definitely a a a big factor in in all of this. I think said it before, and I'll say it again, you know, the the average Bitcoin of these days isn't
the same as it was back in, you know, we we quoted March 2020.
The, you know, the average Bitcoin of back then was, you know, the the the person that you just described. It was Yeah. You know, taking on the system type thing. Now it's just somebody that wants price exposure to try and stay away from inflation. Again, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's like that is the overwhelming
primary use case for most average Bitcoiners these days, which is, you know, maybe leaning into why I think the sentiment shot is that those people just aren't vocal on Twitter and the rest the world. Exactly.
Yeah. Yeah. They're not even on Twitter. They're just like, you know, I bought some fucking BlackRock corn, and I'm just sat you know I mean? Like, there's a completely different guy. I I I agree. And they probably hold a lot of the Bitcoin, and they're not vocal because they don't care about the things that we're talking about. And
and then the ones that are left who were around in 2020 have a bit of a not a bit of a a lot of a bitter taste in their mouth with everything that's going on. Yeah. So, anyway, bit of a rant there. We can get back to the news.
Yeah. Indeed. Jordan's also dropped in a quote from a just somebody that goes by a developer that they I believe they posted in one of the the the kind of off topic chats that some of us frequented talking about the the bit one ten activation
client code. Yeah. I saw this. I'm I'm gonna read the quote and then try and give a bit of context. The quote says, contrary to the activation parameters as written in the in this bit, the actual activation client has an additional bit one forty eight style enforcement, which starts around August 1.
When the threshold of 55% block signaling for bit one ten in a single window, the window being 2,016 blocks has not been reached, any block that is signaling for bit one ten. Sorry. Any blocker is not signaling for bit one ten after that date will be rejected by the activation client,
basically splitting themselves off or even coming to a complete halt if there's no hash power. Looking at the node counts and virtue signal x, this is gonna be interesting to watch. So this is around that whole fork that was proposed last year to by the, I guess, I'm gonna use a blanket term here, but the not crowd
to try and combat some of the quote spam that they didn't like as part of the network. It was originally bit four four four, which we we have covered a a couple of shows ago when we we dive into what that is and the the pros and cons of it.
But, basically, what that BIP was trying to do is is to say to to kind of stop the likes of the Taproot wizards and the people that are hiding JPEGs in, you know, pub keys and things like that, trying to stop them from being able to do what they do because the people are proposing this BIP
see that as spam, and they think that they can stop it. Whereas the detractors to that, like, I guess, blanket term, the core crowd think that it's futile.
It might stop some things for a short period of time, but there's an infinite amount of ways that you can embed data. You can split it across outputs or transactions and then reconstitute it, etcetera, etcetera. So those are the the the two kind of, you know, high level heads that are putting together.
What have I got here for summary? Yeah. Bit one ten is it's a proposed soft fork aimed at simplifying block validation. The the reason for the change of numbers, I believe, that Luke Dasher
gave bit four four four the number without going through the proper process. So we are talking about the same bit here and the same proposal. It's just been officially renamed as bit one ten.
It it's aimed at simplifying the the block validation during rule changes and reduces ed cases around activating new features. In the itself, this is the crucial bit here, in the BIP itself, BIP one ten, the activation method is quoted as miner driven, which is true.
This means that when a sig a signal when miners signal support by setting the version bit in the blocks that they mine, If we get enough signal through that twenty sixty 2,060 block window, the it kind of locks it in and activates for for the the clients that are running that software.
However, the accompanying client software, not that supports or or it kind of proposes to activate this bit one ten, also has extra code in there that adds as an extra layer that isn't mentioned in the bit.
Basically, what this client will do as the activation window, you know, as you come up to I believe it's August 1. As we come up to that date, if the sign signaling threshold of 55% of minus signaling has not been reached, the nodes that are running this not clients will begin to reject blocks that are not signaling,
which basically turns passive non support into active invalidity. So effectively, miners who want their blocks to be accepted by these nodes, cut these knots nodes, must signal support.
So it's basically like strong-arming them if they giving them a chance to do it themselves, and then afterwards, the dish these nodes are gonna start rejecting the blocks. Are you still with me, Max?
Sort of. Yeah. So the TLDR here is that the BIP says that it's minor activated, but the client also has a follow-up where it's user activated. So we could end up, well, if essentially, the quote from this whoever goes by a developer
is basically saying that, you know, come August 1, there is gonna be a chain split essentially, and it's gonna be interesting to see how that pans out. Do you agree with that? You think there's gonna be a chain split?
Well, if if enough
if there's a enough of the not this not client being ran, that they are going to start rejecting blocks that the rest of us that just run, let's say, Bitcoin Core deem as valid. That means I've got a completely different view of the network than the
the the the bit one ten client does because they're gonna reject the blocks that I see as valid. And if there's some miners that are also signaling support for bit one ten, they will be mining blocks that are compliant with that. And in in my book, that seems like it's gonna be a chain split.
And in that event, what would happen? Like, you would actually you'd have, like, a b cash situation, and you'd have,
a quasi-core demon, like, CP. Yeah. You've got two blockchains with two completely different or or or two different block content essentially. Because we're already saying shared history up until the up until the split. And then after that, it'll be not has one version of truth and core has another.
What what pans out after that? I've got absolutely no idea. Isn't it kind of already similar to that in terms of, like, mempool and fee estimation and things like that we've covered? This is just like another step further.
Not really because with the mem with with the the Mempool stuff where they're restricting, like, fix the filters as they used to say, that wasn't preventing any miners from
putting stuff in, and it wasn't preventing the the the Knott's clients from having to store that data and to verify those blocks because they still ultimately agreed that it was a this quote bad transaction.
Albeit they didn't want to have it stored in their mempool, it still is consensus valid. It's part of the Bitcoin blockchain. So all they did was just say, I don't wanna see that transaction. But when it ended up in a block, inevitably, they they had no choice. Mhmm. This takes it a step further. My understanding is that,
basically, if if the the new rules are enforced by bit one ten, they will just reject if it if it contains a transaction that does not meet those new stricter rules, then they will deem that block as invalid and and kind of reject it, essentially.
If that's just a minority, then, like, it it makes no odds really. They're just gonna have a a chain split of of basically
zero value. So so it comes down to how many miners are running that and and and actually including that in their blocks, basically. And if it's only a what you're saying is, like, if it's only a small amount of miners, then it shouldn't
really be much of an effect. But if suddenly half the network was doing it well, so you've got presumably anyone in that sort of ocean crowd is probably but but hold on. Would it not be that a miner who's incentivized to earn as much money as they can, would they not
choose the option that is gonna include more transactions rather than less
because they wanna Yeah. Yeah. So Not necessarily more transactions. They're like higher value higher value transactions. Yeah. Yeah. Which these would be, wouldn't they?
What you think that the the the bit one ten compliant blocks will be Less valuable. More oh, less valuable. Yes. I agree. Yeah. So what I'm what I'm sort of getting at there is if I'm a miner and someone says, well, what software do wanna run? Do you wanna run the the one that is gonna create more valuable blocks and have a larger payout
or the one that has less, but you get a warm fuzzy feeling? I would say, obviously, the one that has more money. And and most miners, unless they're getting a backhander from someone who's trying to cause a chain split or create these sort of stupid arguments and funding this sort of nonsense.
Unless you're getting a backhander from them, mining's really tough. Like, staying afloat as a miner, even if you are chasing the highest fees and doing everything you possibly can to optimize, it's fucking brutal.
You add in, like, oh, let's also, like, not, you know, not make as much money as we can just so that we can part of this club. I don't
I just don't see that happening. Maybe maybe I'm completely off here, but I just don't see many people. Like, if I think about, like, who's in the club minor group? Like, how many of those people are gonna there's, like, couple of 100 miners. Some of them are quite big.
How many of those are gonna fucking do this? I can't think that any of them would.
Yeah. I I mean, money talks at the end of the day, and I completely agree. I I I think this is gonna fall flat on its face, but we will see. Okay. Maybe it's just another one of those things that, like,
we shouldn't even pay attention to. We kind of have to. It's a kind of, like, sort of weirdly our job. But, like, with all the not stuff, with all that arguing, when you look back, you're like, why did I even bother fucking saying that I should just shut up about it?
Well, when we first spoke about it, somebody can check the tapes where I'm pretty sure I said something along the lines of in six months time, we won't even be talking about this. We'll be like, like, oh, yeah, remember that. Yeah. What
what's funny actually to me is that Jordan's put this in the show notes, and I'm glad he did for us to have a chat about it. But I haven't seen barely any chatter about this or any of the, you know, the surrounding drama on Twitter for quite a while. Yeah. Admittedly,
I don't spend anywhere near as much time on Twitter as as I used to. I basically just go on, scroll, retweet a couple of things, post about free and just Friday, yeah, and leave. So maybe that's that's some of it as well. Okay. Well, thanks, Jordan. And thanks to a developer.
I did see that in one of the groups,
but it would have been one of those things that sort of glance past and didn't take a second look. So thanks, Jordan. Appreciate it. Yep. And and I've done a a year and actually skipped one of the the points as well, so I will go back before we hit the boost. Just a Jordan just included a a link to freeromanstorm.com
where you can write your letter of support for for Roman storm, who unfortunately is also another individual that's going up against the might of the US government and and and losing at this stage, unfortunately.
Yeah. It will be in the show notes. But if you do wanna show your support, then, you know, feel free to go and do that and send your digital letter to show your support and and donate if you can afford to do so. It's if you did win, it's also such a strong name to win with.
Oh, yeah. Roman storm. What a fucking cool name is that? Roman storm. That's the sort of thing that goes into history books, and people go, oh, fucking Roman storm. Oh, yeah. He beat the US government, did he? I hope. You can imagine you can imagine Russell Crowe playing him in a film, can't you? Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Proper gladiator style. Well, let's see. Let's hope. We'll we'll hope and pray and cross our fingers and eyes and toes and balls and everything that we can and pray for you, mate.
Yeah. Absolutely. Alright. Let's let's hit the boosts. I will kick us off. Top of the show top of the shop, excuse me, is Nostagang with 5,000 sats, and they just said hashtag ungovernable with the
Little love heart. That emoji. Love heart emoji. Yeah. When you do it the way that Gen z does it. Yeah. Or or Asians, they like that one. And they also do they do one where they do, like, the thumb and their their finger across. So it's like a little mini love heart. I don't know if you've seen that.
Their thumb and their finger across. Yeah. If we had a screen now, it's like basically crossing two fingers across each other, so it, like, makes a little heart. I have to show you when we see each other, but they love that one. You know, all their photos absolutely love it. I think I yeah. I think I know the one you mean. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. It's a good one. Well, thank you, Nostergang. Well, the Ian with 2222 stats q, we need an ungovernable misfits motorsport meetup. Oh. Yeah. I've already responded to him on Nostra here, but I am absolutely down for that. Now this is off the back of
I was talking about the the fact that I'm I'm a bit of a petrol head at heart. Yeah. And it sounds like with a name like Weldery, and I'm sure he is as well, especially if you want to do motorsport meal. So can I just shill him Can I just shill him a great idea? Because motorsport, as you know, is extremely expensive.
I had a really good idea a couple of years ago when I was working with a lot of steel, and we had big forklifts all over the place and lots of toys to play with. And I came up with this amazing plan because we had, like, multiple different yards and then, like, ramps that would go up and down and then different warehouses,
which were pretty big. And I was always fucking around with a forklift. And I thought, why don't you do forklift racing? Because you sort of almost drift because it's like rear wheel turn.
And you you work it in that you race the forklifts,
and then you have to go through different stages where you'd have to lift awkward things and go over different bits of the course without dropping them or fucking them up. There's precision built in. Forklifts, everyone's got them on any yard anywhere, so you don't have to invest loads of massive amounts of money.
And you make it as, like, blue collar and dirty as you possibly can. Like, you have to smoke a cigarette when you're, like, driving along with it. Like, if you have a can of Stellar as well, it's fucking perfection. And you just as you drive the course, you do that. How good would that be to watch?
Check your telegram. Check my telegram. Mhmm. K. This is already a thing. Is it? You're gonna have your mind blown.
Let me have a look. Jordan, make sure you ask me for the for the link for this. I can't say anything from telegram. Nothing. Did I have I just sent it to somebody? Oh, signal. No. Oh, you can't. Where is it? No. Yeah. Ran it's in Telegram. I've d m'd it to you. Nope.
Let me send it in signal.
Yeah. Jordan, make sure you grab a link from us for this one. Well, I'll just read out. It's staplercup.com. Okay. It's not loading. Oh, here we are. Forklift racing is a competitive it's a competitive sport that combines precision driving, speed, and technical skill with events held globally.
Amazing. I'm just looking at it now. Amazing. It's a little bit more clean A than I would popular mod for the beamng. Drive, whatever that is, the v eight racing forklift Amazing. Features a powerful engine up to 1,000 horsepower.
What?
Who needs a thousand horsepower in something that's that top heavy? Me. I do. I need a thousand horsepower. Absolutely insane. That is amazing. Well, there we are.
Consider it, guys. I mean, maybe this the the price of this is higher than I would have hoped because I was thinking, like, we know enough farmers and builders and, like, people who have yards and stuff between us that we can get our hands on forklifts for nothing
and land for nothing. And that's more of a pleb way I sort of felt. But either way, I'm I'm up for some type of motorsport for sure. Definitely. Yeah. Yeah. Sign me up. Another one from from Welder Ian. Another 2,222
sats. He said, I've taken your advice and I've been the custard. Good. Yep. Well done, mate. Well done, mate. You've you've become a man today. Well done. User 22290688 sent 1,500 sats. A fortune teller once told me, if I miss an episode of Uncoverable Misfits, I will die a gruesome death within seventy two hours.
I heard that too, actually. Yeah. I did hear that. Also, if you don't like and share and subscribe to the show, then You are gay. My son will get AIDS. Oh, and you are gay. Both of those things. Yeah. Also that. Yeah. So do it now.
Have you you know that guy, that you are gay guy? Why are you gay? Why are you gay? I saw a clip of him the other day, and he's like, I think he was on Piers Morgan. And, like Fuck up. Yeah. And Piers was doing, like, a classic, like, so tell me, you know, if one of you Oh, are you a bigot?
Yeah. Yeah. Are you a bigot? You know, if one if one of your children was gay I know what you're about to would you do? And he goes I would collapse.
So good. Oh, what a collab. I love that guy. So good. The bad thing about that is that the video I saw of that is it cuts immediately after he he says it, so you can't, like, see what the reaction was, but I can imagine the rest of the panel were pissing themselves. Yeah. So good.
So good. Anyway, digital nomad sent us 1,052 sats and said free samurai. Cosign that, of course. Arrow with 1,001 sats. I love the Bitcoin brief. I don't forty hours per week because I can't be damned to listen to the opinions of that many people.
I think that's fair. It's all you really need is me and q. It's all you need. Yes. The the the only two opinions that are correct, so you don't need anymore. Yeah. Always correct. Finally, we've got BTC on board with a 100 stats. He just sent us two thumbs ups.
Thank you all for your support. Yeah. Thank you very much. Any questions for this week? There are no questions for this week. I didn't ask for any because I've barely done any work, eat, and sleep Yeah. For the past week or so. So I didn't ask for any. So let's hit releases.
Let's go. Another phoenix d dashboard has been released. Did you see Miguel tagged us on Twitter? I did. Super happy that we were we were talking about it. And yeah. So it's a quick recap in case you missed the last show. PhoenixD, basically, is just an open source project that is a a dashboard, as the name suggests, Shockora,
for your Phoenix d that you can run on your Umbrella or your Start nine to to power a Lightning node without some of the the headaches that often come with running a a more traditional Lightning node. So this update, he's got a new he's got a new analytics page
that shows payment activity over time and activity heat map, GitHub style, loads of fees, monthly income versus spending, lots of power user stuff. But, again, I just wanna commend him. Like, this this UI, like, he's obviously a very talented front end dev because it looks wonderful. Like,
it's very visually pleasing. I It does look nice. Admittedly, Miguel, I I haven't had time to try it for for all the reasons I've been whining about for the past hour or so, but it looks wonderful.
Should we get Miguel on one of the live shows? Yeah. Don't see why not. Definitely. I think it would be quite cool. Miguel, if you are listening to this, we'd love to have you on. Maybe we can do a Freedom Tech Friday.
Yeah. I'm down. We can we can give us the the look. Maybe we can we can talk about what Phoenix D is, why it might we can talk about what Phoenix D is, why you might wanna run it, and then obviously go on to the to his dashboard as well. You can do as a oh, that's the beauty of the live show
with the video. We he can he can give us a a tour of it Custom. On the show. Yeah. You can see it with your eyeballs. Oh, that would be nice. Well, if you are free on a Friday, Miguel, we'd love to have you. Just message and we'll make it happen.
There we go. Alright. Next on the list is I just need to pause because I'm gonna sneeze.
You could just sneeze in the show.
It's a quiet My sneezes are quite loud. I'm not sure the users the users, the listeners would appreciate that with their with their AirPods on when they're walking the dog. Mine are also extremely loud. Like, if I sneeze in the house Oh, I know. I've been on the receiving end many times. They're fucking they're so ridiculous.
And my missus is like, can you just fucking shut up? Can you just, like, sneeze quieter? I'm like, no. I can't. I only know how to sneeze one way, and it is really, really loud. Have you seen those people that, like, half hold it in and they just go, wee wee.
Yeah. It's like Yeah. Come on. Get a grip. Those those are sorts of people that when they get home and they close the door and they take off their coat and they take off their makeup and they look in the mirror. They begin to cry. They gently weep.
That's they just hold everything in. They just smile at the world, and, actually, inside, they're dead and broken. So if you are one of those people Can't fuck you with that. Don't sneeze like that. Me hoo.
Fuck. So Just let rip. Yeah. Let rip. Do it prop if you can do something, do it properly. Yeah. Alright. Next on the list, BitTyper. I believe when this first came out, we might have talked about it quite a while ago. It's basically a
tool, basically, where you can kind of do some chain analysis on yourself and your your own addresses and transactions. Mhmm. With this release, quote, today, we added the next step to the auto analysis tool by displaying all tape paths between transactions, clusters, and addresses.
This feature provides deeper insights and facilitates more through invest more thorough investigations, and it allows you to independently verify whether BitHyper's assessments are accurate.
Don't trust verify. And this, you would run locally, like, on your own node or something, but you presumably? Do you know what? I don't know whether you can run this yourself. I believe that the the default way to do it is that you just go to bithyper.com.
Oh, they do have a GitHub. Let me just quickly open that to see whether because that seems like a terrible idea otherwise. This organization has no public repositories. Well, it's only like OXT.
Like, you just gotta be careful with, like, your networking privacy, obviously. You know, don't go
from your home IP with no VPN or no Tor and just start typing in all of your addresses. Like, obviously, that's a terrible idea. Same goes for any Block Explorer, really. So just treat it in the same way. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. It it looks like you can't self host this. The the GitHub just is
empty, essentially. So It would be cool if, you know, like, if you're on your Umbral or start nine or something, and you could just have that running on there like you do with Mempool. I just think that would be a very nice very nice option.
Yeah. Yeah. Agreed. Agreed. This is cool tool actually. I remember us talking about it a while ago, but again, it's not one I've had a great deal of time to play with. But thank you for putting that back across our radar, Jordan. Yeah. Maybe you can do the show notes every every show. It would be He does a better job than me. Yeah.
He does do a better job than you. Does. Should we just get him on the show and just I can just have a year off? Well, we've tried we've tried before. We have tried before. I don't know. I think it's he doesn't wanna do well, he's got a full time job and family, hasn't he? So and it's not in our sort of sphere. So he
usually can't make the same times that we can make. He's like, oh, yeah. Yeah. I can do that. Like, can you do three in the morning? I'm like, no, mate. I'm freaking Yeah. Okay. Well, Jordan, you you know the door our door is always open if you've had to get off early. Yeah. It is. Okay.
Next on the list is Envoy version two point two point one is now live. And I believe by the time that this goes out, two point two point two or even two point two point three will be out with some more bug fixes.
The the two main priorities for this release, loads of just minor improvements and bug fixes, which I'm not gonna bore you with. And then the other one is getting laying the the groundwork for the Passport Prime connectivity,
which again, I don't wanna say those fabled words, but is is gonna be in hands very soon. Mhmm. So this is this is the the the main release to kind of make sure that the Envoy side of things is ready for all of the Quantum Link Bluetooth connections and all of that prime onboarding loveliness that we
do you know what? I've actually lost count the amount of times that I've reset Passport Prime and gone through the onboarding as part of all the the quality assurance processes. It's I reckon, even though it's a touch screen, I reckon if you blindfolded me, could probably do it blindfolded.
Okay. So that will be in your app stores as of right now, and Passport Prime will be in your hands. I wish I could say right now, but soon. Soon. Next on the list, my name box have updated. They've got new DNS management and client oh, the DNS management and the client portals have been merged.
Do you see why they've done that? Oh, it means our domain customers no long no longer need to use a separate management platform for DNS records. A ticket for the DNS management tool is also no longer required. All new domain registrations and domain transfers will receive immediate access.
Existing customers will be migrated. Nice. They've got a new docs website linked in the show notes, but if you wanna check it out, it's docs.myinbox.io. And then they've got tons of new templates.
Matt, what the hell is a MyInbox app template? Do know I should know as their sponsor, but I honestly have no fucking idea. I'm gonna click on it I I all I yeah. Deploy preconfigured applications on your VPS without using app templates.
So it's basically just an app store for Yeah. My inbox customers. That's quite cool. We've got WireGuard, PyHole, and Unbound. You've got Docker, Node. Js, Haven, Nextcloud, LempStack, whatever that is.
The new website is looking nice as well. That's been updated in the last couple of months. Yeah. I do I do like that. Very cool. Very cool business. Obviously, I shill it on every show, but being able to do this and and pay in any cryptocurrency and privately is pretty fucking awesome.
Yeah. Absolutely. Shout out my inbox. Next on the list, this one seems to blown up in the over the course of the past week or so. I think last weekend is when it went viral. But Claude Bot.
Heard about it? Tried it? Mate, I'm using it. I went and got this Mac Mini, and I've been running it over the weekend, and it's it's incredible. It's incredible. It's literally changed my life.
So just to to avoid any ambiguity, it was originally this tool was originally released under the name Claudebot. Claude with a with a w. It's a play on words with with lobster somehow, some way. I don't know why. Okay.
But Anthropic, who power actual Claude, the AI tool, basically just knocked on his door and said, yeah. You're not fucking doing that, mate. So he's now changed the name to
fuck. What's it called?
So it's not Clawbot anymore? It's it's the exact same tool, but he had to change the name or he was gonna get thrown in I think it's called
fuck. Sorry, mate. Let me Google it.
Yeah. He he renamed it Maltbot. But if you go to claw.bot, which is the the URL, it'll Mhmm. Tell you all all that you need to know. The the TLDR here and why it's kind of blown up over the weekend, Twitter's literally gone absolutely mental for this. It's an open source AI assistant that runs twenty four seven on a server.
You talk to it through WhatsApp or Telegram. It does actual work, clears your inbox, schedules meetings, researches companies, follows up with leads, writes content, and manages your calendar. What could go wrong?
Nothing. Isn't but that's just chat GBT, isn't it? Like, I don't see the fucking difference. Like, if I ask to do shit, does shit. Yeah. But the the difference here is well, number one, it uses Claude from Anthropic in the back end. And number two is and the the primary difference is context.
This runs all the time on a server or a computer. And, essentially, you give it access to anything and everything on that computer. You you I believe you can constrain it to specific directories, but obviously then you limit you know, I just I just build off a load of stuff that it could do. But obviously,
for it to be able to update your calendar, you need to give it access to your calendar for you know, it needs to know. Of course. Yeah. For it to be super powerful, it needs context on basically the entire machine so that it can operate within with anything on that machine. What could go wrong exactly?
Yeah. I mean, I'm not gonna lie from a productivity productivity perspective, the idea of this excites me, but, like, the the privacy and security trade offs are just astronomical at this point. And, it's open source.
So, you know, clever people can verify that it's it's doing what he says it's doing. But, like, I'm both equal amounts excited and petrified of this. I haven't tried it yet for obvious reasons.
Yeah. Like, it's one of those things where if there was a way that you could confirm that your privacy isn't gonna be completely fucked, then amazing. But I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I suppose I suppose if you are running on a separate computer anyway and you have, like, maybe some tasks
I'll give you an example, like, something like post on social media that none of us like doing. So Mhmm. Maybe something like that, you could say, right. Here's all the images that Max has created and videos that Max has created. Here's all the stuff that Crown has created.
Here's all our clips. Here's all our audio because it's all out there anyway. It's not like, you know, it's private. Like, everyone knows what we're doing. And then here's our calendar of when things are gonna be posted, blah blah blah blah. Can you just AI the fuck out of this and just post this on all social media
and make clips and do this and do that? Like, if they could do something like that Oh, it can. You're not It can. Well, so you're not losing in that specific scenario, you're not losing any privacy because you're already posting all this stuff anyway.
And that's a that's a job that you've got to pay a human being, I don't know, 50,000 a year, 70,000 a year for some fucking tart with long nails to, like, post shit on social media. And it's they're annoying.
They're gonna be coming to you with an anti banter, you know, court case and, like, fucking you up in a year anyway. And you can just run one of these things, and it can do that. But I'll do that all day long. That's amazing.
Yeah. I I do really, I do actually have a spare computer that I've been meaning to to test this with, in, like, a sandboxed environment where, you know, it can't access my Spiral wallet and shit like that. So, again, it's just having the time to play with it, but the like, the world seems to be going mad for this. And
it it does seem to be very exciting, but, again, I'm just even though it's open source, I'm just my my I I have many red flags waving in my face at the moment. Oh, yeah. But but for that specific scenario, not like be q and do what q does, but, like, do the social media or do, like,
I don't know, something like making clips and doing that kind of stuff. I can't see a downside to that. Maybe I'm missing something and and someone maybe someone With it pared down like that, I agree. Yeah. Yeah. No. You're right. And maybe you wouldn't need that powerful a machine.
And then the other thing is, could could you not just speak to my inbox and be like, I don't really wanna go and buy a fucking Mac mini to do this. Can I just need to, to be clear? Yeah. Absolutely. You don't need to do that. The and I think the link even says that, like, this will run on a cheap VPS because all of the heavy lifting,
like, you still need a Claude Down in Claude. Yeah. Account. Like, it's all it's pinging out to Claude via the API keys and stuff that you'd have to give it. So the server that's hosting Claude bot, the the open source software, doesn't need to be, like, anything beefy is my understanding.
Ah, but it's pinging to Claude. But Oh, yeah. Yeah. But it's Claude Marks from Maple? So how Maple do it, theirs is, like, it's encrypted information so that it keeps it private. Presumably, this Claude Claude bot is not doing that with Claude. So that Claude AI still knows,
right, you know, they're posting a load of social media stuff. Here's all their images. Here's all their pictures. Here's all their shit. Like, you are then still it would just be like you physically sitting with ChatGPT and giving all the information about everything that you're doing,
which, yes, is actively out there, but it's, like, much easier for it to collect and collate, which is worse. I guess that is a downside because presumably it's not encrypted, and it's, like, doxing that.
Yeah. I mean, well, anytime you're using any traditional AI, like, you you're you're sharing information, and and this is no different. This just seems like an agent in between you and Claude, I guess, that has the context of
what's on your computer, and it has access to your accounts and things like that. So it can do more than just like, it can do the things like tweet for you and, you know, send an email and clear your inbox and summarize it. Like, Claude doesn't have that. So it's like
the it it's an agent for your agent, I guess, is probably a good summary of it maybe. Okay. Alright. Well, we shall see. It sounds pretty cool. I'm glad you bring up Mark's and Maple actually, because the next on the list is from Maple that says you can connect Maltbot to Maple. So rather than it ping Claude, you can have
Maple on the back end. Well, that's nice. Presumably, it's not gonna be as powerful though as far as I understand it, but it will be Yes. Correct. I would agree. Lot. So but but so maybe maybe it's like a split of, like, maybe we're going too much into this on a Bitcoin brief. Maybe it's more of a Freedom Tech Friday thing. But
maybe you have a less powerful
a less powerful machine running this claw bot thing with Maple to do the stuff that you really do not want out there, like more personal stuff, like more personal life stuff. And then you have another one that is separate that goes to Claude that does the stuff where it's, like,
more like social media or that kind of stuff. Like, you could split it down and and sort of, like, take some of the risk out. Because my guess is this is gonna be so fucking addictive
that it's gonna be hard to pull yourself away from it once you're like, oh, shit. That's doing, like, the job that I fucking hate doing, and it takes me ten hours a month, and it just does it.
I've got, like, five other things like that that I fucking hate and take ten hours a month. Can I just, like, get rid of them as well? Like, to actually sit and push yourself through that cunty task for those ten hours when you know you could just flick a switch pretty much,
I think I think you're gonna get pulled in. So it takes I think it you need to think about the structure before you dip your toes in. Agreed. Okay. That's done. Well, we'll do a Freedom Tech Friday on this, I think. We're gonna have to, aren't we?
Yeah. Definitely. I I wanna try it before we do that, though, so I can speak from personal experience. Okay.
Maybe we should all set ourselves some homework to do it. Yeah. Well, I'll set my claw bot up and send you homework to set you it will set yours up as well. Sounds good to me. Alright. Next on the list, crypto privacy tracker. Tracking private cryptocurrency value across coins and protocols.
I have zero context here, but it's a little bit tweaked. Crypto privacy tracker is live. Tracking private scoreboard for privacy. I'm clicking link. You're coming on a journey with me here, listeners.
Cryptoprivacy.live. Tracking private cryptocurrency value. Oh, it's literally just the market cap of private I'll use air quotes, private crypto that are not Bitcoin priced in Bitcoin. So Monero is top of the shop, and it says it's valued at 98,520 Bitcoin.
That is not what I thought it was gonna be.
You're on mute. Okay.
Joe, I think Jordan's trying to get me canceled by the Maxis. They're talking about crypto. Yeah. We're already canceled. True. True. Alright. Next on the list, Peach Bitcoin, in conjunction with BTC Pay Server, have released a Peach plugin for BTC pay server. Pretty cool. Yeah. They I saw this article titled close the loop with Peach,
private peer to peer off ramping directly from BTC pay server. Nice. So the TLDR here is that, obviously, if you have a an online store and you're gonna be receiving Bitcoin for your goods and services, you may inevitably, at some point, need to offload some of that for Fiat.
Obviously, you can go and do that through traditional exchanges if you're happy with the the the many trade offs of operating in and around the KYC system. Or now you can directly from the plug in within your own BTP server,
offload directly via a peer to peer trade with another Peach user, which is pretty fucking cool if you ask me. Yeah. I like that. And actually, a lot of people use Peach in a lot of the groups and stuff that we're in.
More than I expected actually use Peach, and I seem to be very happy with it. Yeah. It's it's a very underrated tool. I would imagine on the surface of it, what this is basically is just like a a UI wrapper that uses the the BTCPay wallet as your the the funding wallet essentially for your peach trades.
So in theory, it's it's a simple idea that makes a lot of sense. Yeah. But, yeah, excited to see this. Well done to to both parties. This is awesome. Very nice. And last on the list, I was very happy to see this. Zeus has released stealth mode essentially, very similar to the one that the samurai team
have nice. Had. Well, they've had it twice, haven't they? They had it, then they had to remove it, and then they put it back into the to the APK version. Mhmm. Or did they put it back into the older versions? I don't anyway, they they put it back in. Yeah. So basically, what you can do here if you're unfamiliar is that rather than having
the Zeus logo and name on your app's home on your phone's home screen, excuse me, where people might recognize that and be like, oh, well, I know that's a lightning wallet. Give me give me your phone. I'm gonna keep your head in.
You can now have the the icon and the name of Zeus be a calculator, Edge VPN, a QR code scanner, or a notepad, and then to actually change or enter Zeus rather than the the fake app, which they are fully functioning apps, by the way. It's not just a a fake icon.
You can set a specific number of taps on the icon, and then rather than opening the the fake calculator app, it opens Zeus. So it's a very good way of hiding some sensitive apps. So yeah, thanks often for for doing this. I don't I don't know whether this is is this Android only or is this Android and This
screenshot that they've sent looks like it's iOS, but I'm familiar as to whether you could do that on iOS, but we'll see. Okay. Yeah. We'll have a look. Nice. Nice job. Alright. Quickly cap off the list. We've got a couple of education pieces that Jordan's dropped in.
We have escape the techno explorer. I can't even speak. No. Escape the Technocracy three d printing for radicals course. So this is Gabriel's website, isn't it? Escape the Technocracy. It's advertising a course for three d printing for radicals currently on sale at $275.
It's a three d printing tutorial series that takes a patently different approach from mainstream hobbyist advice, focusing on sovereignty, privacy, and practical mastery without corporate dependency.
Nice. Nice. That escaped the technocracy website looks excellent, by the way. Very Yeah. They do they do great work there. And I'm sure the content is gonna be very, good. And three d printing, we talked about it a few times, but three d printing and learning how to do it in a sovereign way just gets more and more useful over time. Like,
the things you can do now with three d printers, if you know what you're doing, are pretty fucking amazing.
Yeah. Agreed. Mine's sat here gathering dust at the moment. I haven't turned it on for a while. You bought one? I didn't know you bought one. Yeah. I've had one for about two years. Have you? I've never really done a great deal with it. Just printed, like, couple of
couple of, like, templates for for work stuff, like Okay. You know, when we were exploring the shapes of passport prime and things like that, I was interested to do a couple of toilet roll holders and hooks and things like that. Nothing vaguely useful.
Yeah. But, you know, where it comes in and becomes extremely useful as if well, depends on the person, but for everyone, it gets very useful very quickly if shit turns nasty in the world, whether there's some sort of, like, big global event or, like,
you can't get parts because shipping's fucked or whatever the whatever the issue of the moment is. If you need some parts or need to build something and everything's closed and power you know, like, there's there's nowhere to get things shipped in, actually, having a three d printer is really fucking useful.
Like, it it could be life changing. It could save your life if you know what you're doing. So if you're considering it, I would go and support the guys at Escape the Technocracy and and go and get that course.
Agreed. Yeah. Alright. Last two on the list. Friend of the show, Fundamentals, has been vibe coded by the look of it. Oh, yeah. He's he's made two two new tools. The first one is called cryptography mathematics.
Learn the mathematics that powers modern encryption from modular arithmetic to elliptic curves. So if you really wanna get your nerd on here, it's basically an online course, self guided course that will teach you all about cryptography mathematics, way above my pay grade here, but this is very thorough
and very very well laid out as well. He's fundamentals is a a maths wizard. Yeah. I've just, like, clicked on a couple of random pages and, like, there's just lots of letters and numbers that Yeah.
Are very confusing. It looks like something out of goodwill hunting. Yeah. Yeah. Indeed. Talks about Diffie Hellman key exchanges and electric curve cryptography and discrete logarithms.
So if that's your bag, then this will be interesting to you. The one that is very exciting to me though, make sure you click this link and check it out, Max. This is cool as fuck. Basically, it's a Sparrow Wallet tutorial or self guided tour, a comprehensive course on Sparrow Wallet, Bitcoin security,
PSPG transactions, hardware wall integrations, and privacy focused self custody. Oh, This is fundamentals again.
This is fundamentals again. Yeah. The UI is identical to the the mathematics one I've just been talking about, which is why I can tell that he's been vibe coding. Mhmm. And again, self guided course. There's little quizzes at the end of each section. It's well thought out. It's well laid out. It's it's in sections.
So introduction to Sparrow, wallet types and creation, hardware wall integration, a deep dive into PSPTs, multi signature wallets, privacy and coin control, node connections, advanced features, security best practices, and then development contributions as well. Brilliant. All in order so that you can go through naturally.
There's interactive modules in there as well. This is top notch stuff. I I'm very impressed with this. Well done, fundamentals. Such a weird guy. He came on the show and, like, love him to pieces. Amazing guy, but weird.
He gets up every morning and just, like, sits and forces himself to do, like, really, really difficult math sums. It's the first thing he does. He just gets up and he sits there for, like, two hours doing nothing but just, like, horrible math sums. And to me, that sounds like my literally my worst nightmare,
and that's what he does. Like, some people get up and they're like, oh, yeah. Like, people have time at least. Like, I do my yoga, and it's like freedom and and, like, he's like, no. I'm gonna fucking work out my mind here and just go and do some really difficult maths every morning for hours until
I think he said something like, I do it until I can't physically do anymore because my brain hurts. It's like that kind of thing. I'm like, okay, mate. Whatever. That gets you through. Jesus.
Yeah. Anyone who's missed that, go and have a listen to the the confab with fundamentals. I think it must have been six months ago or something. But, yeah, great guy. Love you, fundamentals. He is indeed. Yeah.
But that's excellent. I'm I'm I was very impressed with that when I saw it. Very impressed. Very good. That brings us to the end of the show, mate. We we got through it. Apologies for the the wavering thoughts along the way, guys. I had very little prep with this one. I thank you to Jordan for your assistance. Thank you.
Thank you very much, Jordan. Thank you to the listeners for all the messages. We'll catch you on the next one, and, hopefully, we'll be a little bit more prepared. And Q will have had his two week holiday with his pina colada, sunshine, and some rest. I wish. Yeah. I wish. I'm sure that's what Zach's got planned for you.
I'll settle for a full night sleep if that
Yeah. Okay. Well, I hope that happens for you, mate. And, yeah, I'll catch up with you later. See you, bro. Before you go, mineinbox.help keep your online presence hidden. They provide anonymous server hosting solutions, virtual, private, and dedicated servers, domain registration and DNS
